In our mixed age classes we have children from babies to preschool in the same class. This creates a family-like atmosphere where siblings can attend together, and allows each child the freedom to participate as he or she chooses without being burdened by age-specific expectations. Younger children learn from older ones and older ones get to be leaders. It's a win-win experience! Babies under 8 months are free with registered sibling; siblings over 8 months pay reduced fee. Sing, dance, laugh, play and get silly in this unique class setting! Watch a video of what parents say about the family model.

Basic Principles of the Music Together® Philosophy

I. All children are musical.

II. Therefore, all children can achieve basic music competence, which Music Together defines as the ability to sing in tune and move with accurate rhythm.

III.The participation and modeling of parents and caregivers, regardless of their musical ability, is essential to a child's musical growth.

IV. This growth is best achieved in a playful, developmentally appropriate, non-performance-oriented learning environment that is musically rich yet immediately accessible to the child's-and the adult's!-participation.

DID YOU KNOW THAT ALL CHILDREN ARE MUSICAL?

Have you ever wondered what you can do to nurture the musical growth of your child, regardless of your own musical ability?
Experience Music Together and find out how important--and how fun--your role can be!

Classes build on your child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement. They help you provide your child with the basic musical skills needed to enjoy participation in school and social music activities, and to formally study an instrument should he or she choose to do so. Moreover, the development of musical skills significantly benefits a child's physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
